Of the 570 million farms worldwide, approximately 90% of them are run by individual farmers and their families. With these farms relying primarily on the labor of family members, it is important that local farmers receive the necessary knowledge and technical skills to have success. When people are well-prepared for their work through education and training, they thrive in their field. The More Jobs Better Lives Foundation strives to promote job creation in the agricultural sector because more productive work leads to happier people, not to mention feeding 80% of the world's population.
We strive to support students and aspiring apprentices from developing countries who wish to improve their home countries through agriculture and related fields by offering scholarships, apprenticeships, and training in Kanto, Japan. We believe that through our support, small communities around the world will be able to establish and sustain themselves.
